KardGrabber helps you turn paper business cards into digital contacts stored under your company workspace. You can capture cards with your phone camera, let AI read the details, review the results, and save them for your team.
What KardGrabber can do
- Capture front and back photos of business cards
- Extract contact fields automatically with AI
- Search for a LinkedIn profile using the person's name
- Verify card details against a company website (optional)
- Search saved cards by name, company, or job title
- Share a company card library with team members
What you need
- A free KardGrabber account
- A company workspace (created during setup)
- A phone or computer with a modern browser
- HTTPS for phone camera capture (recommended on mobile)
2. Getting Started
- Register — Click Register and create your account with email and password.
- Create a company — On first login, create your company workspace (for example: "Acme Sales Team").
- Go to Capture — Open Capture from the menu to scan your first card.
- Invite teammates (optional) — Company owners can add members from the Companies page.
3. Capture a Card
The capture flow has three steps: Front, Back, and Review.
Step A — Front of card
- Open Capture from the menu.
- Tap Open Camera or Upload Photo.
- Take a clear photo of the front of the business card.
- Tap Capture Back Side or Skip Back → Review.
Step B — Back of card (optional)
If the back contains useful information, capture it. Otherwise skip to review.
Step C — Review and save
- Wait while AI analyzes the card (usually 15–30 seconds).
- Review the extracted fields.
- Edit anything that needs correction.
- Tap Save Card.
4. AI Extraction
After you finish capturing, KardGrabber sends the card image to AI and automatically fills in the review form. You should always review the results before saving.
Fields AI can extract
- Full Name
- Job Title
- Company Name
- Company Acronym
- Office / Branch
- Phone
- Mobile
- Website
- Address
- Notes
AI extraction requires the site administrator to configure an API key. If AI is unavailable, you can still enter card details manually.
5. LinkedIn & Web Tools
LinkedIn (person)
After AI extraction, KardGrabber searches for a LinkedIn profile in the background using the person's full name. You can review and save the card while the search runs. If a match is found, the LinkedIn (person) field is filled in automatically.
Verify on Company Website
On the review screen, you can click Verify on Company Website to compare your card data with information found on the company's website. This can help correct company name, website, address, and other fields.
- LinkedIn search works best when the full name has at least first and last name.
- Website verification may take 10–30 seconds.
- Always review suggested changes before saving.
6. View & Search Cards
Open Cards from the menu to see your company's saved contacts.
- Search — Find cards by name, company, or job title.
- Pagination — Change how many cards appear per page (6, 12, 24, or 48).
- Card details — Click a card to view full contact info and card images.
- Edit — Users with edit permission can update a saved card.
Each saved card keeps the front and back images, extracted fields, notes, and any enrichment data from website verification.
7. Companies & Teams
KardGrabber is built for teams. Each company has its own card library.
Company owner can
- Add team members by email
- Set permissions: add cards, edit cards, delete cards, or view only
- Manage members from the Companies page
Switching companies
If you belong to more than one company, go to Companies and switch your active workspace. The Cards page always shows contacts for the currently selected company.
